Realization of already started works until the end of this year from the Programme of development of the City of Nis for 2012 and projection of the activities on the creating of new Programme of development for 2013 was the theme for conversation of Boban Dzunic, president of Palilula Municipality with Branislav Jovanovic, national delegate in the Assembly and executive director of the Directorate for Nis City Construction that was organized in this city municipality.
President Boban Dzunic expressed his satisfaction with this meeting since, according to his opinion, it contributes to solving many problems in local community. Palilula Municipality is first step of cooperation with citizens in our settlements. There are many issues that are directed to the members of Municipal Council who are obliged for certain spheres connected to solving matters in infrastructure in our municipality, specially water and sewerage net from village Gabrovac to village Krusce. There are lot of matters on construction of traffic roads and pavements, irregularities about work elaborations in the field. Cooperation with Directorate for city construction of the City of Nis is necessity and need so that the projected programmes of construction in Palilula Municipality successfully realized – said Dzunic. That is why Jovanovic and me agreed about constant communication and cooperation in interest of our citizens.
In discussion about developmental initiatives of Palilula Municipality, demands of citizens, priorities in investment, as well as other activities that will influence in the next year the improvement of this municipal citizens` life participated: Milos Stojkovic, president of Palilula Municipal Assembly, Sasa V. Matic, vice president of Municipal Assembly, Milan Andrejic, Milos Stojiljkovic and Ivica Stojanovic, members of Municipal Council and Marija Brajdic, Head of Municipal Administration department.
Executive director of Directorate for the construction of the City of Nis and president of Palilula Municipality said that in this moment the priority of construction on the territory of Palilula, regulation of traffic at the crossroad by Appellation Court – street Bubanjski Heroji with roundabout with Petra Randjelovic street, sanitation of pavement and street Toplicki partizanski odredi and reconstruction of overpass in settlement 9 May that is one of the biggest suburban parts and settlements in the territory of municipality, constructing of pavement in Gabrovacki put street from Roma settlement to Bolji Zivot restaurant, solving of sewerage and water system in Vinogradi; pavement of streets Ivan Milotinovic, Durmitorska, Igmanska, Carnojevic. With investment activities in Palilula will be also taken into account rural settlements. It has been also agreed that Palilula Municipality in cooperation with Directorate help citizens in collecting tender and projet documentation for construction of local water and sewerage system. Gornje Medjuorovo village should be the formula how to solve this problem successfully. The solving of two round traffic roads on relation Suvi Do and Marina Drzica street has been also announced. They have been waiting since April to be better connected to the city center.
For the next year are left the works on the reconstruction of two traffic roads in Palilula, that are still with gravel. It is shame that Durmitorska where `Tami` hotel is and where are usually our sportsmen, European teams…is not with pavement and is not according to standards of modern urban center and needs of citizens who live there.
Palilula Municipality according to Jovanovic and Dzunic words in the next period will be center of investment activities in the city. All mentioned here will be realized. One problem that could effect to determined terms and quality of work is not sufficient synchronization of public enterprises work when the issue is the work on certain location. Here before all I think of, emphasized Branislav Jovanovic, investment activities of City Heating plant, City Water works and sewerage, Telekom, Distribution of electric energy. Executive director of the Directorate for city land development said that the Directorate cooperates with almost all Nis Municipalities. In the coming year will be opened a few more big playgrounds and also he said that he would much effort in attracting money and investments from Belgrade to Nis.
